Final commitment of young sisters

This month of September 2019 was a blessed month for us.  In addition to the 80th anniversary of the foundation of our congregation, 4 young sisters made final profession in which they committed themselves definitively to follow Jesus in a radical way by living the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience out of love according to the constitutions of the Little Sisters of Jesus.

After 3 years in Italy with the Roms, Paola Takako, made profession in Japan in the midst of a small community in the parish of the little sisters.

The big day for Lubica Myriam was in Bratislava, Slovakia.  She was well surrounded for this event by sisters coming from Hungary, Poland, Germany, and Austria, and by her family and friends.

Angelika made her profession on September 8th, the day of the 80th anniversary of the congregation, in Czestochowa, Poland.  Before the ceremony, she received the blessing of her parents and younger sister.  The Eucharist was celebrated in the parish of the little sisters. She is sent to Chile

And Sunday, September 22, in Butare, Rwanda, Jeannette publically professed her desire to follow Jesus in the path traced by little sister Magdeleine, following Charles de Foucauld. She is sent to Algeria.

“I am with you until the end of Time,” says the Lord.   Trusting in this Word, we continue the journey together.
